Seat bolt torque settings

Fitted my seats this evening but was wondering what sort of torque setting I should tighten the bolts to, they are MK GRP seats and I don't want to over tighten them obviously but just wondered what others have done.

thanks,
Rich.

about hand tight on a 3/8 ratchet is what mine are too (mk r500-a-like jobbies). can't see them coming undone. I wouldn't overtighten as the threads as you say are only in grp. if really worried stick a bit of locktite in rich..

Ned.

It's a captive nut in the fibreglass isn't it?. If your bolt's not too long it should be alright to tighten them as the nut should lock to the seat runner or bearer you are using.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
