Hazard Switch Wiring
Anyone got any good tips for wiring the Hazard switch?
Do I need a 6 pole switch or can I get away with a 2 pole and some trick wiring?

i used a double throw, double pole switch, ie 6 terminals.....

So that's what I need.
Just struggling to find a matching toggle switch with such connections.

If you can't find a suitable switch then just use a relay which has a two isolated outputs.

hope this diagram helps
but in words - connect the centre terminals of the 6 pole plug to the indicator lamps. connect 2 poles above (or below) centre pins to your hazard
flasher. connect the remaining 2 pins to your indicator switch, and then through the indicator switch to your indicator flasher...
the 6 pole plug lets you isolate the hazard and indicator circuits..
try maplin.com (might be .co.uk) i paid about 1.50 for a toggle- you need a double pole double throw (DPDT)

Cheers - will look into Maplins when I get home. Just have to find somewhere where I can get 8 various toggle switches that all match and all have
rubber covers!

thats where i got mine from - and cheap, the only one they dont seem to have is an off/on/on for lights - got that from preimier wiring..

Hi James,
Did the one from Premier look similar?
Or I could use one "Maplin" switch for the sidelights and one "Maplin" switch for the headlighs.
