Motorcycle speedo's

Is it possible to use a motorbike speedo,tacho etc with a zetec engine and type 9 box. I know id need a cable made to fit and the speedo recalibrated. can anyone see any other problems.

A lot of bike speedos are electronic.

It would be easier to use one of those with a couple of magnets on the prop shaft, a sensor and a speedo healer.

Everything else should work fine though.

I am in the early stages of producing a unit that will allow you to use a digital speedo that uses a magnet and pickup sensor and still use the original speedo cable. We have a working prototype on a VW Bettle and are now looking to produce more that are smaller and in mass.
