floor Carpet

Hi all this is the first time on this site and its looking good but i need some help. At the minute i am doing up my westfield and trying to replace the carpets, the westfield is 15 years old and as you can immagine the carpet is worn and on removing it disintagrated can any one help me on is there any thing else i can use for the carpet or instead of or is it only origanal equipment????

Firstly a big welcome Stef.

At the shows you will find a huge selection of carpet material. There are loads to choose from. I think Woollies also do it mail order. Personally i opted for the stripped out look and fitted a chequerplate ali floor to mine. I think that looks great and will not be prone to mould / water damage if i get caught out in the rain (or if daughter soaks the interior when she helps me wash the car!).

you can also buy plastic sheeting that looks like chequer plate.

Most Chav type car shops have it. Motorworld, Halfrauds etc.

You can get checkerplate lookin lino from carpet shops.

This might sound a little cheapy but for a boat I got some cheap 1.99 per square meter carpet from carpet right. It was foam backed but I just scraped all the foam off and stuck it down.

Topps Tiles were selling chequer-plate floor tiles don't know if they were steel or Ali.
