All in a nights work
Got the dash foamed and covered tonight trial fitted the gauges.

The reason they are offset is because i is crap at drilling holes.

Are they triumph stag gauges?? Just wondering how you are going about getting the speedo calibrated? I was thinking of doing somthing simular so I
don't have to use the serira gaueges, and yet not spend too much...

Dave, don't want to worry you but I used smiths gauges from a triumph spitfire and SVA man didn't like the 'sharp profile of the
chrome bezels. Yours are not in the exempt area behind the steering wheel so you may have to make another 'plate' out of 5mm ply to fit
over the bezels and with feathered edges to you main dash. I made mine a tight fit over the bezels so that they would not fall off during inspection
but they still fell off and flew over the back of the car after it passed

Yes i am a Celtic fan I dont know if the gauges are Triumph or not. The speedo is 1000 turns per mile, but your right Mr sva will not pass them.
The plan is to recess them into the dash so they are below the vinyl surface.
