Are these SVA Compatable?

Hi, we are now in the process of looking at getting some harnesses and were wondering whether Luke harnesses with these buckles will pass an SVA

Also any opinions or reviews of Luke harnesses is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Ed

As far as I know - they are 'NOT' SVA compatible.

I was under the impression that although regulated for Motorsport Racing - they aint for the road.

You need the old 'clunk clip' style seat belts.

Sorry if I'm wrong

I have to disagree with muzchap

My car passed SVA at Nottingham with Luke four point harnesses with that very buckle.

Cool - I'm glad to be wrong

I'm hoping to go to Nottingham

I might investigate some better harnesses then - I didnt like the look of the clunk clip style ones

Belts

My understanding is that as long as the buckle can be released with one hand it should be OK, some testers can be a little awkward with the four point buckle.

I may also be wrong, not the first time!
