My daughter's VW Golf has a pale interior, almost cream, and yes, it is a pain to keep clean! Just getting in the car leaves gravel on the floor, which really stands out.

My own car has a light grey interior, which is far more civilised.

Ive got ali chequer plate floor, no side panels, GRP seats. I love it. No drama when wet. Easy to keep clean. Gravel and general raod grime is a problem on trimmed interiors. I dont have that grief. Stripped out race look is the only way to go imho.

Agreed - I've got rubber mat glued to my floor - when it gets dirty I clean it with a wet rag!
