carpet trim
hi all
im in the process of cutting and fitting my carpets and i need something to trim them at the side of the car
i was thinking of something like this :-

any one have any ideas where i could get this, or something similar?

B&Q sell a variety of trim like that.
Someone else posted a link to a (horse?) trailer site that sold it, too...

Yep, I used the B&Q version, I think it's sold as stair tread edging. It's about 1" wide, with a small lip on one edge, I found
it to be just about ideal for edging if you've trimmed the interior panels. Nice and cheap too......!

I went for the stair trim in the end for the side panels and chrome floor edging for the tunnel

Looks good.
Only comment I would make is that if the floor gets wet then your legs are going to be sat in waterlogged carpet.
I'm in the middle of fully trimming my fury but am using aluminium treadplate for the floors.

Agreed... Get some nice rubber mats or matting and cut to size.
Easy to clean, and does not get waterlogged. If you want carpet, howabout some Flotex (Kitchen carpet) can get waterlogged and will not smell
later.

cheers guys
i do have some tread plate for putting in the front of the footwells which should stop my feet from getting wet
i dont plan to drive in the rain anyway but i live in scotland and am bound to get caught out at some point
