Any quick ways to zero a smiths speedo??

bought a second hand speedo with 23000 miles on the clock, just wondering if anyone has any ideas about how to zero the miles.

Take out the tumbler and put the spindle in a battery drill, 5 mins and it will be a virgin again Rescued attachment Clocking.jpg
