Being a real cheap skate? cobra bucket seats!!

Does anyone here know what the carcass of a Cobra type bucket seat looks like? I was thinking of possibly buying a pair from ebay and if they were to wide cutting a vertically section out of the seat and then rejoining. The seats below although tatty look to have a decent carcass? what your thoughts?

I originally had a pair of slightly different Cobras in my car - see pics on website - they are very comfortable, but a little bulky. I had to do some minor mods for SVA & can confirm they are definitely steel framed, from IIRC 13mm & 19mm sq tube, so could be cut down as you suggest. I later replaced the front one with some hand formed & bent ali sheet, very light & very cheap!

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

I think he means Kirkey.

Aluminium race seats with covers.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
