Putting Bog Standard MK GRP Seats On Sliders

Hi Guys,

A beginners question for you if I may?...

Where should I be looking (or what particular part should I be looking for) to mount my MK GRP racing seats on a slider system?

They are presently just bolted to the floor of my Luego Velocity.

Found that at Cadwell last Saturday I was both too low down and that other drivers struggled with the seat so far back.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Regards

Kyle

PS: If anyone has what I need there's cash waiting

MK actually have siders, two types for their glass seats. I'm currently fitting mine right now! Ones done...They need one hole drilled per slider and a wee bit of adjustment with a hammer as there is enough play in them to let the seat rock. Easy to sort though.

Compared to being bolted to the floor, could you let me know how much higher the seat is with the runners attached.

Cheers

I got a really low pair from a guy off ebay who had quite a few sets.
Fitted fine to my GTS seats with an extra bolt hole in the runner to line up with the fixed insert.

I'll see if I can find a link.

I bought them for £7.99 each as they were "used" not new, but you'd not notice anyway.

I used a pair of Escort (last generation) sliders under the MK seats. They are very slim, and the seat is actually only 5 mm from the floor (as the mounting surface for the sliders is higher than the deepest part of the seat. Very cheap at a scrappy, and work perfectly!
