R1 oil

I dont want to start a syntetic vs semi synthetic debate but can any R1 BEC owners tell me what THEY have been using in their enignes.

Im going for start up this weekend and need to get some oil in it.

EDIT:
Also anyone know what the capacity for a 4xv 98/99 carbed R1 is? Im at work and dont have my manual to hand.

Thanks

Motul 300V 4T. Not cheap but smells luvly!

Fill to the top of the sight glass with the engine off, start it up and let it warm up and then fill until the level is at the top of the sight glass at tickover. You'll probably need to stop the motor when topping it up as you may get oil flung out at you off the clutch basket otherwise!

Spin 'er off Well...
