advice and parts wanted on speedo

Hi all,
I have a Pinto and type 9 box. So guess a speedo cable to suit the cortina/serria, what speedo dials are you using to suit the type 9 cable fitting.

Does anyone have a speedo going spare?

The cheapest option for me for now - Sierra clocks.

I have a mechanical speedo and type 9 cable that I was going to use however the way the gearbox sits I couldn't turn the cable before it hit the tunnel wall. I looked at 90degree adapter options but gave up due to cost as i would also need a new cable. I heve the 80mm chrome bezel speedo available if you are interetsted, it is second hand but I did zero the miles on it. Make me an offer by U2U I'll get a picture in the next day or two if you want.

Jumping on the Speedo band wagon . I need a 90 degree converter that fits onto the type 9 gear box. As there is not sufficient room for a bend in the cable once the tunnel panels are in. any one now where I can get one? Or a locost diy alternative!

low cost alternative ....

run the speedo straight out of the box and across the drivers floor, then bend up the outside of the car side, then into the dash.

Can't get any more low cost than that. just need some conduit running across the floor to protect it from big feet.

I decided to go for an electronic speedo from Rally Design, £75 for speedo £25 for sensor, disk cut to fit between prop and diff flanges fully adjustable with a little knob on the back, worked for 5 mins then the sensor bracket broke Will build another this weekend!.
My gearbox sits a bit higher in the chassis so the speedo comes out above the bottom rail so running over the floor was not an option. I have seen another with the gearbox low enough to run the cable under the floor it all de[ends how your car goes togther!
