etched labels
I'm looking for some etched labels for a dashboard. White etched letters on a black background
The sort I want are similar to the type used in 40's/50's areoplane panels, if you're a plane buff.
any ideas?
cheers
Chris
EDIT: like this

Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the
error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

I just went down to the local trophy shop / engravers and he made me up what i wanted out of sandwiched plastic so you can pick your colour and the
text colour. My fuse plate was about £4 IIRC.

ask for traffolyte if you're ringing anywhere up.
that's the name of the sandwiched plastic.
googling it also brings up a fair few places online.

Or you could go for even more locost option- those old letter punchers with a sticky tape for labels (I think I have seen them used in racecars in
'50-ies and '60-ies). That ought definitely add a bit of retro look.
