For the sake of £5 or so you could give it a bash I guess. That stuff is surprisingly comfy.

My other half made me some out of neoprene...
They were made from a Snap-On Lying down mat, but were a tad thick, so the mat was sliced on the horizontal......
Lying down mat is worth a 'go' IMHO.....

Seem to remember Mr Triton saying he was going to start supplying pads at some point.
But probably not until he comes off the caffeine high and stops stringing up soft toys.

And camping mats are most certainly not hard wearing! Mine is looking very dog eared after 2 camping trips!

camping mat material isn't hard wearing but, like mouse mats, you could laminate with contact adhesive a piece of leather or vinyl to the surface
you sit on.
This will protect the weak foam from snags, cuts and just wear and tear.

My sons have survived the last 7 years of grass tracking using camping mats cut to shape in the grp seat. So it works well.
Cover with some cheap vinyl and they would look OK.
Cheers,
Syd.

Thats what I've done. Decathlon stores do 3 thicknesses. The Thickest has a silver coating. I cut them from a paper tempate then sealed the
edges with silecone and fixed them with velcro.

What price have you seen. I had some custom vinyl covered seat pads made for a bargain. Also had tunnel cover made with built in pockets. All i had to
do was make templates.
If Triton wanted to he could supply templates to my supplier and offer them as an option.
