Locost floor mounted pedals
Here are my "locost" floor mounted pedals (hydraulic clutch and brake).
Not very pretty but I thought I'd have a go.
Actually it wasn't very locost as I bought new master cylinders, and the dual-circuit brake one wasn't cheap!!
I'll keep the Sierra accelerator pedal as standard (not floor mounted).

how thick is the floor ?
wait till you can hold some pedal pressure - then see it flex , for it will do a little bit .

1.2mm thick steel fully welded all around; feels very solid where the pedals are. However I assume you speak from experience so I might mount them on
a couple of thin strips of 3mm thick steel coming out from the front backwards. I need to tidy it up a bit anyway. Thanks for the advice!

The pivot is quite close to the floor, so I don't think there will be a big issue with the floor bending to be honest.
At least your design gives some scope for moving the pedals forward or back (with appropriate changes to pushrods)!
