Chip box for me race truck

Guys

I'm after a bit more torque for my race van as it has a caravan to tow as well as having a buggy and all the race kit on board. It's a Sprinter with a low level Luton body on a 311 CDi chasis, 2001 vintage so gear stick on the dash etc

I guess I could mess with the wastegate/actuator but browsing ebay, this seemed a good option.

Anyone any experience of these? Do they cause any issues with a well run in engine 200k plus?

Views and inputs appreciated!

Harvey

I can't help but I'd be interested to know how you get on with carrying the race car and towing a caravan - I wanted to do something similar but couldn't work out if a 'standard' van would tow the weights and whether it was legal!

If they are the same people as here then they are bloody good. My mate used one and it worked very well indeed. I was going to use them for a box for my passat but never got round to it. I rang up and spoke to them very helpfull indeed.

Wyn

I will let you know after the weekend as I am using this 'rig' for the first time.

Legally, I'm within the vehicles towing capacity which is two tons and I will have 1.35 to tow. I am also inside the payload of the luton van.

I think I just may want a bit more torque but it may be OK.

I'll let you know!
