Anyone use folding seats?
Had a thought the other day. I have high backed Westfield seats and the passenger one a) hardly ever gets used and b) gets in the way of rear
vision.
I was thinking I could maybe take out the passenger seat and put in a lowback folding seat, e.g. something like the ones you could get in the back of
a Land Rover Defender LWB, then it would be available if anywaone really did nood a ride, but would fold out of the way if not needed. I could then
even fit a passenger side tonneau out of ali or something.
As a slightly different question, I know that Smart seats fold forwards, so something like that would be good when parking up to avoid rain on the
sitting part. Trouble is, Smart seats are too wide for a Locost, I think, so are there any other reasonably current seats which fold forward in that
way?

I think i know the ones you mean. Two of our four vans have one as a passanger seat so a small van might be a good place to start with (breakers)
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

What about using one from a split-folding rear seat?
