Dellorto Linkage

Has anyone used the carb to manifold mounting studs to secure a twin carb linkage plate. I notice most units are mounted on top of one carb.

Any reason why the inboard studs should'nt serve this purpose. It would suit my application to use an angled piece of metal attached in this way.

Any thoughts?

Mike

Not really a good idea the carbs should be flexibly mounted to the manifold via rubber O rings and rubber washers.

Tiger do something similar to what you suggest but as BT says above you need to make sure you retain the flexibility in the carb mounting

Put some longer studs in and trap it between two nuts?

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
