Cheap source for steering wheels?

Got my MK R1 yesterday, so far very happy with it.

Hoever, I am a very tall chap and the more I drive it, the smaller I wish my wheel was so my fingers dont brush my knee (its a tight fit lol)

I have a quickrelease with a 330mm OMP Superquadra (sp)

I want something like a 300mm or 290mm D-shaped wheel.

Anyone know of any decent retailers that do them cheap. OMP MOMO etc?

Thanks

Chris

Hi Chris,
I have just got one of these wheels from Rally design. I think they are just as good as the OMPs, but half the price!

330 is waaay to big.
I went from a 300 to a 285 and felt that was just right, but then it does depend on what ratio rack you have - I think all these cars should have quickracks...

Trying to do hand-over-hand with a D-shape steering wheel can be tricky so they're best with a quick rack.

but.......

A quick rack and a tiny steering wheel whilst nice on the track might be a bit gruelling (twitchy) on the road....

i noticed doing a tight turn that grabing the bottom part of the wheel felt very weird as its suddely smaller.

think a circle wheel is the trick. just a lot lot smaller
