As subject really...which looks best?...both are just temporary for the pics, and proper brackets need to be made.

Same dilema as I had, I opted for high up in the end, but needed to be careful when suspension was on full lock and full bump that it clears the
light...
Also consider slanting them up a little for a more aggressive look
(UK has a 400mm max from edge for the dipped beam)

i prefer the high up ones, the lows ones seem to mess with the lines of the car.

High looks better IMHO.
Low down is risky for SVA. 50% of the face of the front position lamp must be visible to an observation point at 80 degrees out to the side of the vehicle, just ahead of the wheel and verticaly level with the lamp. Very easy to get the wheel and wing obstructing the lamp if it is low down.
Perhaps slightly lower than picture 1.
Low down, but set wider than that.

High up floats my boat. SVA isnt a concern for Alan, Dusty he's in the States he can just build his cars and enjoy them, the jammy b@stard.

Never mind high up or low down - first you need some decent lights, 4 of these
2 dip & 2 main beams. By coincidence I sell them & can supply LH or RH dip for you strange people that drive on the wrong side of the
road!
The bodies are just over 80mm wide.
Russ I looked at yours, and may well swap out for those later...I just needed something I could get very quickly to determine looks and position.

It's strange that you, Cloudy and me are fitting our lights!
I got my brackets made today and have trial fit them. I need to drill bigger mounting holes for the lamp mounts, round the edges off and get them
plated/powder coated.
Hopefully, by the end of next week they will be fully fitted and I will post some pics (Russ's lights by the away).
Oh and the answer to your question is HIGH
I like them both. The high ones look pretty good but the low ones look nice and aggressive.

It would be good to see what the two positions look like in an iso view as well as side view.
Based on this one angle I'm going with low. But I believe they should be pushed outboard a bit.
For me it's high, every day of the week.

Low down looks better.
Plus you will get a lot of glare reflected back from from wings.
What does the Florida DOT say about the height of your beams? In AZ the low beam center is required to be 24" from ground min.
