Ride Height

Does anyone know what the best ride height would be i.e. for a Double Wishbone IRS setup on the rear. Looking for slight negative camber

And if anyone knows roughly the overall vehicle weight of a Locost that would be great, cheers.

Where about are you? I'm down west

They car vary wildly from 450kg on the super slim side right up to around 750kg.

what engine/box combo you thinking of? that will give a better idea for a weight target?

Mine weighed in at 450kg with me in it, will have gone up a bit since then though...

Most MK indys with IRS seem to run around 135mm at rear..

This is a can of worms though, you design the suspension for a particular ride height wheel/tire combination etc etc...

Have you a copy of Alan Stanforths book?? He has a "sting computer" for working diffrent designs out..
