Pushrod shocks ?
tug - 7/10/10 at 07:10 PM

I know it is going to sound like a simple question (because it is), but where do you buy shocks for pushrod suspension?

I searched on the forum/google. But seems that you actually have to know brand, then look at models (for spring rate).

Cookie for the one that can find me one that is electronically controllable.

thanks

The shocks are the same as any direct shock, the only difference is that there is a rocker and a rod transferring suspension movement to the shock

Agree with statement above, they are just coil-overs normally.

Protech are good if a bit more pricier than the cheapest alternatives.

As above, normal coil overs. But there can be an issue depending on the orientation of the damper, if they're installed horizontally then the usual cheaper ones will run into trouble as the air and oil inside emulsify. You then need gas pressurised ones or remote reservoir type.
