whats size bolts on atlas diff cover?!
blakep82 - 14/6/08 at 08:16 PM

are they M6? i'd quite like some nice anodised ones i think... i don't know.

saw some stainless ones. £7.50 inc posing.... a bit much i thought.

found blue anodised bolts, which would look nice.

M5 or M6? or different?

cheers guys!
is it M8 x 1 or 1.25?
i'm looking to order some just now

thing is i measured the inside of the hole on the axle, and the diameter was 6.3mm

Tap Metric Drill
7mm x 1.0 - 6.1mm
8mm x 1.25 - 6.9mm

that confused me a bit lol

grrr and where's good to buy them? ebay anodised ones only go up to m6... i was purple ones to go with my purple suspension

Might be 5/16 UNF but i could well be wrong......

just ordered a pack of 10 stainless ones at M8, for £2.39 with free posting lol a bit better than the £7.50 i nearly paid yesterday... i wasn't thinking right yesterday

Jason i think the original wheel studs off the atlas axle were M12, so i think they'd be metric. although i do have some M8 bolts that i couldn't thread through (perhaps just different pitch?) but for £2.39 i can afford to be wrong.
i'll be ordering one of your ecotec inlet flanges once i get my engine back! don't worry!

Like you say at that price you can't go wrong and if they don't fit your bound to fine a use for them some where.

Got loads of flanges in stock so no need to panic.

i wanted purple anodised ones, but can't find any above M6
