Congratulations on becoming a kit maker. A few questions if I may. How heavy is it (say with a 250cc engine)? How far are your feet from the front and how high above your head is the roll hoop? Otherwise, it looks like fun. Can I have a go?

russbost - 4/6/10 at 06:33 PM

Have to say I was tempted to that project myself, but have far too many other things on the go - would have lead to divorce!
I wonder what Stuart (Stig) will build next!
Don't forget I can supply you with lights for this beasty!

Good luck with the project - marketed properly you have to be on to a winner!

only an observation but i got really bored waiting for the flash intro to load, would rather go straight to the goods!

nice looking product, has one been road registered yet? How did the test go?

Then hit the 'skip-intro' button on the bottom right hand-side...

think you'll need to sort out trader status too

Thanks all,
Comments noted, Website still early stages but like you say the flash is not that great,,

The Trike is not tested yet this is the first job to do,

size wise, as it is currently set up your feet are reasonably close to the front, and depending on height just above rool bar i believe, but we think most interest will be with single seat and steering rack option which will change most of that,,

I will post updates shortly

Scott

A couple of questions if I may.

Does it require reverse.

Does it need a IVA test and if so how is it tested. IE bike car etc.

how is it taxed.

3 wheelers are subject to MSVA, which is like the old SVA test but slightly less, I believe. They do not need a reverse and are taxed like bikes. They need to go to a class 3 MOT station too.

I understand they need a handbrake... does it have to be mechanical, or can it be hydraulic?

sat351 - 4/6/10 at 09:24 PM

Mechanical is required, and the Burgman Scooter has this already built it to the brake system, simple lever on a cable,,,

Cheers!

its all right saying hit the skip intro button but you have to wait for it to load before you can hit the button. Will be interested to hear more when and if it passes iva / sva / test

scootz - 5/6/10 at 02:02 PM

It loads instantly with me...
