I saw a similar job done on a Hayabusa, a Welsh firm called the Trike Shop in Cardiff does them. Can't see the point really, it gives you all the disadvantages of a bike like getting wet and you can't dodge the traffic like being in a car. Only thing is you don't need to put your foot down when you stop at the lights, real big plus that is.
holy poo look at the angle of the dampers,
good idea though
did anyone see the ones outside based on a live axle ( shortened escort i believe )

Yep, most are nice jobs as well.
Only thing is the weight aint right for cornering. Engine well over the twin wheeled end is better for any three wheeler. Ask Richard Oakes (Blackjack
Zero)

That's why VW powered trikes handle so well (not). Is Lenny about anywhere? Richard Oakes' designs have the twin wheels at the front from
what I can see and tend to use 2CV mechanicals.
Blackjack Zero

Soooo, Blackjack Zero is a what and not a who. I like it.
Have you ever seen such wide based wishbones though! I think even a modest front impact would just about write the thing off.
Seems to be all VW engine, transmission, uprights and brakes.
