Was wavering on selling my Lada with the impending garage project, the wife surprised me by telling me to keep it.
However after a week on being forced to use it for work due to Northumberland being covered in snow, and getting the wife to work in a blizzard...
My little Russian tractor has secured its place in my growing list of cars.
Everyone should have one.
that is a hopeless sledge ^
anyway from what I've heard the Lada jeeps were quite good offroaders. Keep it, one day it will be a classic.

Stranded again...
Snow
The Mazdy and Patty - not moved for today! KC warm in his carpetted garage!
I have the use of a Discovery at work, not a huge fan of it to be honest.
A friend of mine does pipeline stuff in Georgia, and he had 6 Discoverys which they struggled to keep servicable, they gave up in the end and bought
Nivas.
Anyone spot my 4x4 Jago??

I work at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire and took these as I walked home about an hour ago - couldn't shift the car this morning....

So am I....
It is about perspective...
ie hovering close enough to a really high object you could probably jump onto, however if you miss you become a blancmange.
Myself and the wife did some snorkeling in the Red sea a few years ago, her indoors was freaked out lying/floating on her front with 5' of water
over the reef with a 150' vertical drop down the reef face to the sea floor, very odd.
I could do a freefall, but never a bunjee .
Its a brain chemical thing

Outer Isles ?
PS crampons are no use on fire bricks !, he will end up a blancmange.
West coast... Mallaig???
Not so much a snow picture but a video..
"The Quiet Way Home"
A1 like a jumped up car park for twenty miles, wife needs dropped at work, go the rural back roads in my Lada Niva.
Passed a snow plough and a farmer in his tractor.

Interesting tower....
Did you know the Kerrs (Reivers) used to build there tower stairwells with a anti clockwise twist, as a lot of them were left (Kerr Handed) handed.
Pretty hard fighting upostairs with a sword in your right hand when your fighting arm is against the wall...
Useless trivia prompted by seeing the steps up the tower.
And relax
