OK, stock 1.7 puma zetec SE, 4-2-1 exhaust and 42mm throttle bodies, omex ecu.
Just doing a bit of thinking, now I know a rotrex c30-74 is the ideal supercharger, the eaton m45 would work but has anyone used the Toyota sc12/14 on
one of these or similar engine, any pros/cons.
Thanks
If you google SC 4ages the masses generally say that the sc12 / sc14 are not as efficient. Personally combine that with the potential shortage of
spares, i would go a more proven m45 / m62 route.
I have a 4age and a sc14 2nd hand kit would almost bolt straight on. I have no intensions on going that route.
Many thanks, will re think or rob a bank and get the rotrex :-)
look up jeffw on here as I think he supercharged a zetec in his fury good luck ..... by the way it sounds great and the power delivery is fun .
Mine is an mx5 mk2.5 1.8, eaton m45 and Passat intercooler and a wee bit of ingenuity to get it all under the bonnet of the Haynes. No idea what
I'm making bhp yet will need to get it RR'd considering upping my injectors next as I think mine are struggling at the top end or at least
getting borderline on their flow capabilities, so after a set of RX8 yellow tops now
I did a Blacktop 2lt Zetec with a Rotrex rather than the 1.7 Puma the OP is looking to do. Very different engines.

I've done an eaton charger for mine, I used the cooper s Teflon coated charger as its best m45 in the range and apparently comes with jcw pulley,
the bracket was cad designed to retain std oil filter then machined from a solid block of alloy, then the belt was a long trawl threw the stores at my
local motor factors
Nice one, unfortunately that uses the same bolt holes as my engine mount.i don't have height issues inmy anglia so could mount it high up on the exhaust side.
