Yes he does meen the diff,he wants to swap/buy a live axle out of cortina/escort but would prefer an atlas axle out of a capri.(maybe he should ask santa...but then again has he been a good boy?)

is this a standard diff or aftermarket as fords never fitted a 4.1 ratio

maybe he means 'for one' as in swap? I think 4.1 was available as a motorsport part anyway.
