BRA trike plans
I need a Morgan 3 wheeler badly but theres no way the missus will sanction the 30 large cost of one so looks like I'll have to build my
own.
Anyone on the forum bought the BRA planset, the only downside I can see with this chassis is curving the box section as here
linkythe other downside is the use of a Motoguzzi bike as a donor which are as rare as
hens teeth.
Cheers,
Bob

the V twin on the morgan is of Harley Extraction isn't it?
They must be more plentiful than the mottoguzzi ones,...

no idea, just remember seeing a review where they talked about the 2.1l Vtwin, and saying that it was the same stable as Harley. It might have even
been TG,....
there must be a number of options once you have the chassis shape, I would have thought,.. is there a BRA collective?

JAP Engine??
You could try asking these guys. Thye had experience of installing their engine in a 3-wheeler.

As far as I can make out the rights to sell the kit were sold out to these guys linky but
you can still buy the planset from here linky2 so I dont know how that works out.
Be nice to build one with a JAP engine Dick but it looks a bit rich for me.
The alternative would be to use a bike engine and extend the bonnet line forward mounting the engine above the steering gear a middy bike engine would
be nice but I think there would'nt be enough space rear of the cockpit to keep the lines looking right.

Bob

I too! would like the plans.
I have been trying to contact BRA for a couple of months.
99 Pounds, Or $150-160 USD is nothing when it comes to getting a good start.
Arthur Rayner bought the rights to build and sell the kits.
And he don't sell plans. He sells kits, And complete cars.
In the meantime, I've been roughing up some frame plans.
Your welcome to them.
I'm planning on using chevette upper and lower A-arm geometry.
With 2" drop spindles
I haven't decided on the drivetrain yet. I'm either going with the
Honda ST1100 engine, Tranny, And swing arm setup. Or
A Harley V-twin, Hooked to a Mazda tranny, With a bevel box at the rear.
I would love the Harley, But the Honda would be easier.

hi
I am wondering what kind of lengths you where thinking of putting in the cross sections, maybe even angles of those joints, and also how high the side
of it is?

These guys have a kit to convert 2CVs to BMW boxer power.
Makes the 2CV-based trikes a more attractive option, no?

BRA CX3 Plans
Hi !
Am getting bits together for a three wheeler based on a Honda CX500 and see on your site attempts to get plans for the BRA CX3.
Have found the site purporting sell them but am loathe to send off £100 plus with no open communication link.
Has anyone tried or has anyone a set of plans ?
Or has anyone a BRA CX3 to look at ? Essex

I'm so tempted by an old 2CV or Ami with a BMW boxer.
