Reverse trike by the look of it, nice shape but severely lacking on triangulation IMHO. Is that a BMW flat 2, or four cylinder? Like the idea
though, just needs a bit more thought. Regards Ray

Interesting point about triangulation.
Do 3 wheelers need any triangulation? After all the roll resistance at the rear is zero so there are no torsion loads transferred from the suspension.
Presumably the ethos is light weight so every bit that can be discarded is a bonus.
The front suspension appears to be monoshock so will need lateral bracing if it is to work...

Chassis is of 50mmX50mm and will be pannelled in aluminium sheet, side and bottom and will be strong enough.
The bike in the drawing is the BMW K1200RS, used because I could get CAD for it. But, any large bike can be used as the five bike mountings will be
easy to manufacture.

That is quite interesting, hadn't really thought of paneling the tub but makes sense as that would then be a very stiff structure. So now get on
with the build and keep us informed with loads of pictures. Cheers Ray

Not keen on the front shock linkage, gonna be a lot of twist in that (poss make that middle bit into a triangle rather than a square with a load of
gussets.?).
Though it would solve the need for an anti-rollbar.

The mass at the single wheeled end of a trike tries to induce roll. The anti roll bar at the other end resists it. There needs to be some chassis
stiffness to resist this torque moment.

That needs some more thought........I doubt it would even hold its own weight up , without folding in the middle (right at the bottom of the roll bar
, where all the static load will be)
Remember - triangles are strong - rectangles are not .
Its cuz I is blond , innit

The chassis will not break in half.
The bike is mounted at the head, at the top of the roll hoop, and at the bottom cross member with two mountings (not shown in the drawing), with the
side extentions providing lateral support.
