Iv also been thinking about this as a future project (after seeing jesse james turn a truck into a trike ) but not sure about the licence
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

You need category B1 on your licence to ride or drive a 3 wheeled vehicle of up to 550 kg. You can get B1 with a full bike licence or car licence
depending when you got your licence. Your B1 entitlement may only be provisional on newer licences.
