Spring Rates

Anyone know what's a good spring rate for a double wishbones suspension on a locost? looking for a fairly stiff setup but not so stiff there is no travel. Using 402lbs/in on the front, cheers

what engine have you got. The weight will make a difference. I would say 400 on the front is too heavy. Mine with a zetec im using either 200 or 250 cant remember which up front and its just right.

I've a crossflow powered car, which I built using 275 front and 175 rear. I've since changed the rear to 150's and I am about to change the front to 225's.
If it's a road car you'll find that the condition of the roads will seriously limit its performance if the springs are too stiff.
