4age Breather?

I am running a 4age with DHLA 45's and an Omex 150 ecu. On the carb side of the cam cover about half way down there is a breather pipe which just hangs down through the engine bay. I assume this used to be attached to the injector system in some way before the carb conversion. Is it OK to leave it in this state or should I invest in a breather or catch tank?

I had mine vented through a small pipercross filter but it does fill up. I have now plumbed it into a bottle.

It used to go to the intake manifold. I suggest an oil catch tank, if yours came with the factory oil cooler which drains back into the oil pan you could run a hose from the bottom of the catch tank to a T in that return line.

Thanks - I will buy a breather off fleabay for now, and think about a catch tank when I get some time!
