If the R1 pump is for a carbed engine then it really doesn't matter that it was on a Yamaha not a Honda originally! Most of them are Mitsubishi
anyway!
In other words, use the one you have!

BTW - the Fireblade's I think were originally gravity fed anyway!

The RRT V & W blades didn't have pumps, any carbed bike pump will do, they are nearly all made by mitsubishi anyway. So just find one with
the inlet and outlet which best suit your installation.

Is it an R1 carb pump (low pressure) or a fuel injection pump? The latter will be no good, the first will be fine as it will stop pumping when the
float bowls are full!
As I've already said, most fuel pumps for bike carb are made by Mitsubishi so they are all the same.

My 893 blade lump is supplied fuel by a yamaha R1 fuel pump.
Been going strong for 1 year.
No over fueling issues.
Make sure you get one from a CARBED r1, or it will overfuel.
They self regulate the pressure
