Most 1.8 CVH Sierras have Type 9 & 3.62 diff, but they do vary from car to car.

My 1.8CVH Sierra donor came with a Type 9 box & a 3.92 diff, it was an estate version so not sure if that had anything to do with the diff ratio
.
cheers

Why do I have to make the tools to finish the job? More time then money.

Gearbox from 1.8 cvh is the same as a 1.6/2.0 pinto with regards to the diff they do vary slightly best thing to do is check the metal tag it will
have the ratio stamped on it
Hope this helps
