Reverse trikes on the market
I know of the mev R1trike and grinnall and also the malone skunk but are there any more reverse trikes on the market.

I've got quite a soft spot for the Pembleton cars, they really look the part and the kit is very well priced. I'm not sure what
definition of "space frame" they are using though I suppose it sounds better than
"Ladder frame with some lightweight tubes to support the body"

I see no reason, but there are no cheap trikes, and I've talked to them all, included the US one. The best one, I think, is the T-Rod

Does anybody have some more info on the Pembleton? What's included in the bargain-priced kit?
I'd be well keen for one if they're so straightforward and single donor (i'd just use a 2cv). Definitely appeal to me as a cheapie

The only thing stalling me from diving further-in is the tipping issue.
The more I read - the more it worries me! Mind you - the internet is full of 'expert' accounts which are actually based on big-fat
nothings!
I knew it was possible to put it on edge if you were accelerating full-beans from into a corner, but I didn't realise that it could also tip if
you went into a corner at too hot a constant speed.
You could cater for this on a track, but I wouldn't fancy trying to ease off the throttle mid-corner in a three-wheeler that's on edge!

I remember seeing Morgan 3-wheelers on TV, racing at some British circuit. Going like stink, and hanging the tail out on some corners - no sign of
tipping.

The Morgans are front-engined and front-wheel drive... they have completely different driving characteristics.

Correct - those were the ones I was talking about... it was a Classics race, and the Morgans were beating everything else in their class by a mile.
You can see the chain under one of the cars in this photo:
Mind you, I thought they used to have drive-shafts - but looking at this page they had both
drive-shaft AND chain!

Bloomin eck David... I didn't realise you were going back to steam-powered trikes of the 1640's!
Those things will be lucky to have a single foal-power and would struggle to tip an unladen wheelbarrow onto one side!
I'm talking about fire-breathing modern sports-bike engines with 170+bhp riding on a set of sticky tyres (not wooden wagon-wheels)!

Look even less strong in reality. I can only imagine the rivetted on aluminium is structural.

If you look at the dyno video, you'll see one giving 56 BHP, capable of 100mph! They weigh three-fifths of very little (but I would want to be
in a crash while driving one... )
Afterthought: I should add that any driver who takes one of these onto a race track and drives it at 100mph (as I have seen) must have spheroids of
steel - they never had good brakes (drums all round), plus being wide and short they had an exciting habit of pulling to one side or the other
randomly whenever they tried to stop fast!
