VR Sensor Bracket - Pinto
Anyone know if these are available 'off the shelf' anywhere?
If not, has anyone got diagrams/plans with sizes etc of their installation?
Cheers
Ray

Never seen one off the shelf and boy have I looked.
There's not many places to bolt it, some weld a couple of bosses to the sump, I used a standard universal one and welded some extra to it, used
2 front aux drive cover bolt points, extending the bolts and a couple of cast in holes on the side.
You can have a look at mine (Chelmsford) if you want, I may also have photos on file somewhere.

Hi,
From your pictures i would comment your bracket is not really strong enough, you should not be able to move it by hand, it should be very solid, no
movement at all when the engine is running.
Also, the trigger wheel looks like its mounted using the pulley main bolt, i have seen trigger wheels mounted in this way work loose. I normally
machine the center out of the trigger wheel, then machine a step in the pulley, line up with the VR and weld on.
Sorry to be so negative! Good luck with your project.
