Cant decide, GAZ or AVOs
Hi,
I have one set of steel GAZ coilovers and one set of aluminum, rosejointed AVO Coilovers (4 of each).
Lenght is the same and all fits my chassie.
I cant decide which ones to use, which of these are concidered the "best"?
The AVOs might need a rebuild as there are some free movement when changing direction, or maybe they just need to be filled up with oil!?
If so, can I do this myself?
Also can anybody tell me where to buy 1.9"x8" 225 and 250 rate springs @ "locost" price?

Use avos on one side, gaz on the other and see whether left hand or right hand corners are better, then put the better shock on both sides?
I have the Gaz shocks on mine, no complaints. The rose jointed eyes would probably push me towards using the Avos though.

I personally would use the AVOs just because they're ally bodied, therefore less unsprung weight. AVO will service them at a very reasonable
price for your peace of mind. They altered the length of mine with different pistons / tops and serviced them for just £25 per shock

Faulkner for springs. There may be other suppliers but Faulkners make them in the UK and provide good service.
