Tiger Cat possibly for sale
Hi folks, not been on here for a while (been lured back into motorbike stuff). If any one remembers my Tiger cat build a few years back here was the
thread when I finished it:
http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/viewthread.php?tid=20925
There have been a fair few changes since the SVA (gearbox, diff, bike carbs, cams etc) and the spec now looks like this:
2.0L Zetec
ARP rod end bolts
Raceline Water rail
GEMS 3D ignition unit - includes software and programming cable
Full set VDO gauges
Kent FZ2001 fast rod cams
adjustable vernier pulleys
Honda Blackbird carbs on Bogg Brothers manifold
4-1 stainless steel manifold (fully wrapped) and long 6" repackable silencer
Exhaust has lambda insert for ARP meter
Oil cooler and remote filter
Tran-X straight cut 5 speed synchromesh gearbox (2.38 - 1.62 - 1.23 - 1.0 - 0.87)
3.92 Limited Slip Differential
Yokohma AR48 medium compound tyres
Racing fibreglass shell seats with neoprene inserts
3" Six point 'Safety Devices' racing harnesses
Pipercross foam filter and additional aluminium airbox to reduce noise if required
Removeable steering wheel
Braced rollover bar
Adjustable track control arms
AP Racing brake bias valve
small Nippon Denso Alternator with customer pulley and mounting bracket.
Full wiring loom diagrams
Aero screen and SPA mirrors
There is also a set of 15" road wheels and tyres, if the Yokohama ones don't suit you. My father has been driving the car for the last few
years, but due to a change in circumstances it looks like I may now have to sell it. The car is currently in North Wales (near Rhyl), but I will be
driving back down to Loughborough in the Midlands at some point soon. I'm not really sure what I am looking to sell it for, I'm just
trying to gauge the interest at this point in time. If I had the choice I wouldn't be selling it, but time and space dictate these things
sometimes. So if anyone is interested, drop me a PM.
thanks

Wihout a price, nobody will be interested.
£10K, nobody will want it.
£2K, everybody will want it.
You'll have to make a call and name a price, then see how the market reacts.
(The answer's somewhere in the middle, isn't it ? )

It's true, but hard it's to put a price on all your hard work and at the end of the day it's only worth as much as someone is
willing to pay for it. I'd like to think it was worth £7K, but what the market says is another thing. I'd really like it to go to someone
who will appreciate it, rather than a test pilot who will wrap it round a tree on the first drive out.
