They may as well change the name while they're at it as well
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

i heard jonny vaughan talking about this on captial this morning. apparantly the smarties are going the same, but the tube is going hex or
octagonal.
when they said it was changing shape i was expecting them to say square, so they could package more into a crate lol, like non bent banana's,
another eu directive no doubt lol
Ned.

You'll probably grow out of that by the time you're 5.

Yeah, but will you still be able to launch the plasic cap into orbit by squeezing a new shaped tube?

I'm sure they've said this more than once before. Sounds like quite a clever bit of marketing on their part - every now and again they
just have to mention they're changing the tube and the whole nation is talking about them - lots of free publicity! I bet they don't
really intend to change it at all

I thought Smarties were only a Canadian thing.
They have been in rectangular cardboard boxes here for as long as I can remember (Im 24). I have only seen the tubes within the last couple of years.
