I just purchased ZX9r Carbs for my 4AGE
Don't even know if they'll work, but they were only $40 on Ebay...

They are 40mm, but not flatslides... I always wanted to make my life harder!

Well you have the Bike shockers, the bike exhausts and now the bike carbs.
All you need now is the bike engine and you have a matching set.
Is there something you're not telling us?
Maybe you are really building a bike, but don't yet know it!

Yeah, you caught me.
I so very much want a BIKE engine in this thing, but I am afraid that my design is simply overweight for that option. Simply not enough torque... I
can't imagine having to rev to redline and drop the clutch at every light...

How heavy are you talking Steve?
I've seen figures of about 550kg (1200lbs?) for some BECs. This is with something like a 900cc so unless your all up weight is far more than
this figure I'm sure something around the 1000cc would work. You could always go for a turbo charged Hayabusa engine!

My guess-timate is 1500Lbs - Wet.
Body weight is the great unknown at this point.

Ah well that'll be about 680kgs by my reckoning so probably a bit too much for a bike engine.

I can get the weight of the car down to around 1,200Lbs if I redesigned some overbuilt areas (easy) and went with a bike engine. Think Mid-Engined

Accident, undeniably it's the sound of a bike engine wailiing up over 11k rpm and shifting through the gears sequentially that gets me in a
lather.
