3 wheeler wheel alignment
I've just been measuring up my 3 wheeler chassis and have found the single rear wheel is offset to the driver's side by 25mm. I can shim
out the mounts by 8mm but that still leaves it out by 17mm. The wheel is straight and vertical. Will a 17mm offset be OK? The car will be slightly
more heavily loaded on the drivers side most of the time because of the weight of the driver. I'm wondering if there will be any adverse
effects or whether I need to get the angle grinder out.

Sounds fine to me, I can understand the aesthetic desire to have it exactly in the middle, but I would leave it as it is

I'd say it probably makes sense if it's usually only going to have the driver in - 25mm would only make a tiny difference to the handling
anyway & 17mm even less, if it really bothers you could you lose 5 0r 10mm with wheel soacers or is this not practical with how the wheel is
mounted?
I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator
headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names
furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours.

The rear wheel is a scooter rear wheel and held on with a pair of forks. No chance of spacing it out. I'll re space it out and see how it
looks. Damn, I measured it so many times too.

no one seems to think about a sidecar outfit, your configuration will be fine.

Offsetting one front wheel isn't an option either?
