You went to the shop, bought stuff and now complain about being robbed? Am I missing something ? Did they put gun to your head to buy it?

why the rivets you get them with the kit or i did with the delux kit

sealent can be up to £15 a tube
pop rivets £7 per 100
and p clips depends on the type you have
so looking at it not bad
ps if you thought the price was too high you should have mentioned it at the time when you were there and then decided if you really wanted to buy them
i personally do not think you have been robbed every one has to make a living

If you bought from a builders merchants or fastners supplier for the rivets you could have got cheaper.

As said though, did you query the price when you paid?

MK have to source the stuff themselves so will put a mark up on the bits they sell. As with anything you will pay a premium if you dont shop around.

i suspect he's done what i do. Gone along, got the bits and when he's got home taken stock and though "blooming heck".

Now he's asking the question so he knows if he's been ripped off so as not to go back.

(i'm a tight arsed northerner living in the midlands. If i was up north i'd ask my dad before i bought stuff, down here i can't. He'd turn up two days after asking about prices with what ever i wanted for a fraction of the price other people would charge as he used to do all sorts of engineering before he retired so knew where to get stuff)

As for closed end rivets, i got mine off Flak monkey when he did a bulk buy. He figured out if he bought x million he could get them for pennies. He got everyone to buy some, added a mark up for himself and everyone got a bargain
