photos too large?

just managed to add photos to my archive - at last - but when i looked them up, they are huge! how do i get them so the whole pic is on the screen? any help will need to be as simple as poss! cheers.

I would imagine, resize them in whatever photo editing software you have. Then upload them to archive once again.

I still haven't sussed how to create an archive myself yet.

ha ha! liked those! thanks worX just downloaded resizer, do you know what size i'm aiming for - and can i upload all pics to archive at once, or do i have to do individually? cheers

For including pictures in your posts, 640x480 is generally perfectly adequate, with a maximum of 800x600. Any more than that and you cause grief to people with smaller monitors and older laptops that run lowish resolutions such as 1024x768.

If you want to show a larger picture, just include a link to it in your post so it doesn't mess up the formatting of the page.
