had a couple of good days on the Panther...
got the raceline sump fitted...
made the alternator bracket....
made the belt tensioner.....
and got the clutch working.. eventually.
The clutch was the hardest thing to do..
I didnt fit it the way its designed, as would have meant the bleed pipe was at the bottom.
Russ at Furore Cars made me some new hoses with banjo's on and I could then have the bleed pipe at the top.
fitted it all together, bled it up and then fitted the engine.
Nice hard pedal for about 2 seconds... then all the brake fluid leaked out of the bellhousing.
seems Rally Design forget to tell you may need a spacer!!
out came the engine again..
measured it up and found I needed a 6mm spacer. quick (2.5 hour) trip to Burtons and I had the spacer I needed.
dont know why but the first time i droppped the engine in took about 10 mins...
second time about 90 mins... not fun fitting an engine on your own!!
But I now have a clutch that works!!
Club meet tommorow morning then back to the workshop to start the Omex wiring.

Nice to see another Panther coming along, keep up the good work.
Your get on better than me
I spent 3hrs re tapping all the bolt holes for my drive shafts as they were full of powder coating.
I must buy some masking tape that don't melt when it's being baked
See ya in the morning, can you bring the omex plug please.
Thanks
Mark
