Does anynone know if the "book" GTS bones are designed to use Sierra uprights?
Got a book chassis and book bones, but Sierra uprights. Trying to decide the cheapest option - whether to buy Cortina uprights or new bones.
Cheers,
Pat...
I have Sierra uprights on GTS chassis and bones.
There's a picture somewhere in my photo achive.
Jeff
Cheers.
My problem is that I have a "book" chassis and not a GTS one.
Pat...
Talk to darren, he will probably have them.
Adam
Yep - I'm awaiting him to post - come on Daz...
To make the question easier - does GTS do a set of wide track front bones for Sierra uprights that will fit a standard "book" chassis?
as far as i know, the chassis is book width, and the front wichbones are wide track, to accept sierra uprights. i used sierra ones anyway. the rear is
sierra too, thats why darren makes the wide rear arches.
best speak to darren though, he'll be able to tell you for sure.
hope this helps.

Cheers Tom.
Car looks well - wish I had spare funds for a GTS chassis (all money tied up in Avon).
Pat...
Unrelated I know....Looking at your Avatar is that standard roll bar Pat?
If so you must be a short arse as my big head is about 4 inches above mine!
Hi Pat,
GTS Wide track wishbones are a little wider at the chassis than the standard book. You would need to remove the rear u bracket and reposition it. But,
they do work with Sierra uprights.
Removing and replacing the u brackets isn't as much of a saga when you are commited to it as you might think.
Kind regards,
Darren
Yep - not that Tiger has a standard one?
I'm only 5'6" and have Richfield seats on low runners.
Has got a camera mount so there

Snoopy - you have U2U.
