A question for all you GTS builders. What's the recommended way to fix the bonnet at the noscone end. Most bonnets overlap the nosecone and because of this cannot move from side to side. The GTS bonnet doesn't overlap the nosecone but just butts up against the nose cone flange. So how do you stop the nosecone from moving side ways Would a couple of the normal bonnet catches do the trick?

I've got the GTS bodywork and was planning to use a couple of locating pins at the front and a pair of rubber catches at the back. The locating
pins would be fitted to the flange on the bonnet and would engage with a pair of bushes or grommets in the nosecone flange. I also intend to use self
adhesive closed cell foam rubber between bonnet and chassis rails.
HTH,
Craig.
I was planning on using 4x dzus fasteners, but i have heard from people on here that they often fall off when travelling at speed.
failing that, darren says he has new style lower profile ones than the usual ones,.

Yes, I think a couple of locating pins on the bonnet going into grommets in the nosecone would be best. That's how Westfield do it I believe.
