i would make my own but welders and me dont go together

The GTS alloy tanks have mounting brakets welded to the bottom IIRC so you dont need to use straps to hold them in. The brackets just bolt to the two short tubes that run parallel to the length under the tank.

Some welders are really nice people, try to get along . Try Allyfab , Bryn is at most of the shows and will make one to your design and measurements.

He's not a registered trader, but I got my excellent ally tank from "Deneo" on this site, search for him and ask, was cheap too

The tank fit OK Mark? I have seen some of his tanks and they look rather nice.

thanks for all the help buys. i think i heard car builder sollutions plastic tank is the same in dimensions as darrens is this true?

BKLOCO - 20/2/06 at 01:18 PM

I tried the plastic tank before finally settling for the GTS aluminum one.
The plastic tank will not fit directly onto the chassis, it fouls the panhard rod. You would need to reposition it higher similarly to the way CaLviNx is suggesting.
GTS sells these plastic tanks as well as the alloy ones.
