Hi,
I remember Darren talking about using Loctite "Seriously Strong Stuff" for gluing the cycle wings to the brackets but I can't find this particular adhesive listed anywhere. Can anyone tell me where to find it? I think he also referred to it as "No More Nails" but the only one I can find is Unibond No More Nails and I have tried it before for DIY use and found it to be less than great.

Personally I think you want to be using Polyurethane Adhesive. I would'nt use no more nails??!?

PU is like $hit to a blanket but still gives - and if your careful and patient 'can' be cut and removed if required

Available from all good local builders merchants etc failing that lolocost etc

I used Wurth bond & seal for mine. No probs so far.

2 lengths of hosepipe gaffer taped to wheel. Steel straps bent round on top of hosepipe. Cleaned the steel up and applied adhesive. Cleaned arch placed on top and held in place overnight with masking tape. Once set removed wheel and hosepipe then aplied more adhesive to the underside. Worked a treat.

Yep "Seriously Strong Stuff" works a treat.

Alternatively you could try Wikes "Ultimate Adhesive" This S**t will even stick surfaces when the're wet.

I used PU adhesive on mine and the wings have stuck on just fine, even when the bracket itself snapped,

PU adhesive for us too....

Texflex, Tigaflex, Sikaflex... they are all very similar...

Thanks Guys, I already have some PolyFlex PU adhesive which I used for the panels so I might use that. I think I'll get some of the Evostik SSStuff though as that was what Darren himself recommended although I'm sure he said it was Loctite. Thanks BKLOCO for pointing me towards B&Q!

Deffinately Evostick, i have some in the garage and damn its good.
I'd have to describe it as seriously strong!

Gripfill is cheap and sticks like stuff to blankets.
